Memoranda of Understanding (MOU)
Formal MOUs establish a structured relationship between IARC and partner institutions, enabling co-branded programming, reciprocal library access, and coordinated grant applications. MOUs are reviewed and renewed annually.
Joint Research Projects
Collaborative research agreements bring together scholars from IARC and partner institutions to work on shared questions in Islamic studies. Partners contribute investigator time and archival access; IARC contributes project coordination and publication infrastructure.
Academic Exchange
IARC welcomes proposals for student and faculty exchange programs with Islamic studies departments and research centers worldwide. Exchange agreements facilitate research visits, guest lectures, and cross-pollination of methodological approaches.
